This 2 day course is suitable for beginners and designed for students wishing to pursue a career in freelance bridal make-up. You will learn how to apply a perfect natural make-up, camouflage techniques and how to create the latest bridal looks and trends. Information and advice on advertising, marketing and fees is included to help get your business up and running.

• Current bridal trends –including false lashes and liquid/gel eyeliners
• Camouflage make-up and tattoo coverage
• Mature make-up (Mother of the bride)
• make-up for black & Asian skins
• Wedding trials
• Advertising, fees and services and insurance – getting started as a bridal make-up artist
• Advice on make-up kit & essentials.

Cost - £495

We use top quality make-up products and brushes at the Academy from brands such as MAC, Illamasqua, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier and Make-up Forever.

On successful completion of this course, an Academy certificate will be issued.

Aftercare

Aftercare at the CMUA is incredibly important to us and to you. We encourage all our students to keep in touch after their course has ended, our doors are always open for help and advice. In addition to this, catch up days are organised throughout the year for all our ex students to exchange information, network, portfolio advice or just to chat over a coffee. Occasionally our students will get the opportunity to assist the tutors on professional shoots to help them gain valuable experience in the industry (previous students have assisted on jobs for celebrity magazine shoots, BBC drama, theatre and photoshoots). Refresher days for ex students are arranged free of charge.
